Полоцкие пограничники примут слет православной молодежи

A military-patriotic rally of Orthodox youth will be held at the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment from June 21-26. More than 100 people from different dioceses of Belarus will take part in it, the press service of the border guard detachment reported.

The traditional rally will be held for the 10th time, and this year it is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory.

On June 22, a liturgical commemoration of border guards who died in the first battles on the border in June 1941 will take place. On the same day, a rally with wreath-laying, excursions around the city and to the museum at the Mound of Immortality will be held in Polotsk.

The rally program includes pull-up competitions, a military relay race, a team tracking tournament, a quiz, a review of marching and songs, a meeting with veterans, and a performance by a military band.

Young people will be shown two episodes of the feature film from the series "The State Border," the filming of which was recently completed by the Belarusfilm studio.

The organizers of the rally are the State Border Committee and the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
