The Polotsk Border Detachment informs about repair work being carried out at the Grigorevshchina checkpoint

To the attention of citizens and carriers planning trips to Latvia and Lithuania
The Polotsk Border Guard Detachment informs about repair work on road surface replacement at the road border crossing points on the Belarusian-Latvian and Belarusian-Lithuanian borders: at the Grigorovshchina border crossing point (neighboring Latvian – Paternieki) – from July 1 to October 30, 2022, part of the road surface will be replaced with a concrete coating, with restrictions on vehicle movement; at Vidzy (neighboring Lithuanian – Tverechius) – on July 6 and 7, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, the movement of all types of vehicles will be suspended due to the replacement of the asphalt surface.
Due to the ongoing works, an increase in vehicle queues before the border crossing points is expected. For a more comfortable border crossing during the specified period, it is recommended to choose the nearest border crossing point Urbany (neighboring Latvian – Silene).
You can monitor the situation before the border crossing points on the Internet portal of the State Border Committee.
