Obtaining European certificates does not mean Belarusian manufacturers leaving the Russian market - S. Shapiro
November 20, Verkhnedvinsk district /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. There will be no reduction in supplies of Belarusian meat and dairy products to the Russian Federation, Minister of Agriculture Semyon Shapiro told reporters today. He took part in the ceremony of OAO "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory" receiving European standards for compliance with safety and quality LST EN ISO 22000:2005 and LST EN ISO 9001:2008, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"We are working with our Russian colleagues in accordance with the decisions made, within the volume and range of products, and we strive to meet their requirements and fulfill contractual obligations in a timely manner," the minister noted.
The receipt of European certificates does not mean that Belarusian producers intend to leave the Russian market, Semyon Shapiro emphasized. -0-
