Assistant to the President of Belarus - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich held a "hotline" in the Sharkovshchina district
At the meeting, addressing the Chairman of the District Executive Committee Dmitry Lomako, Anatoly Linevich raised an issue that concerns many residents of the agricultural region. It is about the need to build a bypass road, which is related to the increase in cargo traffic towards a neighboring state. An appeal was previously sent to the Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus.
– I hope that by joint efforts we will achieve the desired result, the district leadership should show more initiative in resolving this issue, provide convincing arguments, and this is primarily the comfort and safety of citizens, – noted Anatoly Konstantinovich.
The first phone call of the day came from the agro-town of Radyuki. Bogoslav Petrovich was one of the first in the district to connect an electrical installation for heating and hot water supply.
– I was given permission on April 10 last year, – said Bogoslav Petrovich. – After some time, the Head of State issued Decree No. 127 "On reimbursement of expenses for electricity supply of the operated housing stock." Can I also get back part of the funds spent on the electrical work for my own home?
Anatoly Linevich explained that the decree comes into force from the date of its publication. However, specialists will study the issue and, if possible, will try to help.
The issue received from Valentina Petrovna from the village of Bordenets was also taken under control. For many years, she has been on the list of citizens in need of improved housing conditions. The woman has a young child, and she asks to be provided with social housing from the state housing fund.
Vladimir Valerievich from Orsha asked for help in solving a theft that occurred in August last year. The issue is addressed to law enforcement officers.
"We have long been promised a new gas station," noted Leonid Leonidovich from Sharkovshchina. "The number of cars is constantly growing, and many pass through our district. A new gas station means convenience and prestige for the region. As an option, the currently used fuel containers could be placed in the agro-town of Luzhki, which is located a significant distance from the district center. It is problematic for villagers to travel tens of kilometers to refuel their tanks."
Anatoly Linevich promised to discuss this issue with the management of the Republican subsidiary unitary enterprise for petroleum product supply "Belorusneft-Vitebskoblnefteprodukt" in the near future.
The request of Boris Avimovich, a resident of the village of Zyabliki, will be addressed by the district authorities within a week. The villager complains about the unsatisfactory condition of the gravel road surface. Five people live in the settlement. The mobile shop can barely reach the village.
Alexey Olegovich from Sharkovshchina, on the other hand, made a proposal concerning the determination of state duty tariffs for paying the transport tax. The current tariffs are: passenger car weighing up to 1.5 tons – 3 BCV, weighing from 1.5 to 2 tons – 6 BCV. If a car conditionally exceeds the weight of 1.5 tons by 10 kg, one has to pay twice as much.
"This issue concerns many motorists," emphasized Alexey Olegovich. "It seems to me that a fairer and more differentiated approach is needed to determine the base rate depending on the vehicle's mass."
Anatoly Konstantinovich thanked for the initiative and the proposal made, and promised to forward it for further consideration.
"Why is there no urgency in making a final decision? Because many interesting initiatives come from citizens, and they need to be studied and analyzed," explained Anatoly Linevich. "We need to choose the optimal option that will be maximally acceptable."
The conversation between Anatoly Linevich and the managers included in the district's prospective personnel reserve lasted over two hours. The discussion began with agriculture.
– Sharkovshchyna district has all the necessary components for the successful operation of agricultural organizations, but the results leave much to be desired. This means that managers should pay more attention to organizing work, introduce new technologies, not look for reasons not to work, but eliminate what hinders effective labor, – noted Anatoly Linevich. – Knowledge and experience, youth and professionalism should complement each other in the work collective. Then everything will work out, people will strive to live in the countryside. After all, no farmer will work at a loss, they will calculate every step, introduce new ideas to rationally manage available resources. This is exactly how one should work the land.
Anatoly Konstantinovich separately dwelled on the importance of the work of cultural institutions, patriotic education of youth, organizing leisure activities for teenagers outside of school hours, and strengthening work with them through Internet resources.
Anatoly Linevich also visited the central district hospital. During the conversation, he inquired whether payments are being made to medical workers who treat COVID-19 patients. Those present answered that a commission has been created that keeps this issue under control. There are no problems. There is no infectious diseases department in the hospital, but the medics do not send their patients to other districts, they treat them themselves. Currently, more people are being discharged than admitted.
In the conversation, medics asked questions, including about the possibility of purchasing new medical transport and the soonest possible opening of borders with the Russian Federation.
