Помощник Президента Беларуси – инспектор по Витебской области Виталий Вовк провел личный прием в Миорах
Personal reception of citizens and legal entities was held in Miory by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Vitaly Vovk.

Representatives of the Miory Flax Mill and "BelLinenGroup" LLC, as well as 12 citizens, came to the reception with the Assistant to the President, asking for assistance in resolving socially significant or personal issues.

The flax mill and the commercial entity, during a difficult time for the enterprise, would like to continue their mutually beneficial cooperation.

The processors – to receive funds from the partner, as in the previous year, for the preparation of machinery and equipment for the season, and LLC in the form of payment for its investments – fiber. But for its export to China, the latter needs a license, the expedited issuance of which they asked Vitaly Mikhailovich to assist with.

Having listened to the arguments of both sides, the Assistant to the President proposed a state approach to solving the problem – concluding an investment agreement that would take into account the interests of the country, the enterprise, and the private structure.

The town of Disna, with a population of 1,500, was represented at the reception by entrepreneur Natalia Ostrovskaya. The conversation focused on the shortage of jobs and the need to preserve old buildings constructed in the 18th – early 19th centuries, some of which have been demolished despite having interested buyers. When asked how she personally participates in solving the city's problems, Natalia Fedorovna replied that she had organized 5 jobs in her company, is currently opening a cafe, and would like to create an art space in Disna, for which, however, she lacks sufficient funds.

Vitaly Vovk suggested a way out of the situation: to write a business plan, discuss it with local authorities, and if the project is of interest, to ask the district executive committee to act as a guarantor to the bank for obtaining a loan.

Several residents of small remote villages complained about the poor condition of the roads. They asked for road workers to repair the access roads to their settlements.

The President's aide was asked to look into land management issues as well. For several years, property boundaries have been a source of conflict between neighbors. Vitaly Vovk promised that these stated problems would be resolved.

An individual entrepreneur, Vitaly Lapkovsky, received a positive resolution to his request. He had provided transportation services to a consumer cooperative and was not paid due to the trade organization's bankruptcy. Vitaly Vovk suggested that the cooperative's representative settle the debt with the driver using products, priced at the time the debt was incurred.

The appeal from representatives of a residential building owned by OJSC "Miory Agroservice," which requires major repairs, was also considered during the meeting. The owner was instructed to urgently fix the roof leak and to develop a building repair project by summer.

Summing up, Vitaly Mikhailovich emphasized the importance of such meetings. Understanding citizens' concerns allows for an assessment of how local authorities respond to public requests. It is crucial to help each individual and draw conclusions to prevent similar situations from recurring for others in the future.
