Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich held a personal reception of citizens in Vitebsk

10 people, more than half from the districts, registered for the regular personal reception with the Aide to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich, which took place in Vitebsk on November 30. As a result, the meeting lasted for 3 hours, and all the issues raised require further study to make a balanced decision – in accordance with the law, but taking into account the citizens' demand for justice.

The only exception was an appeal from a Vitebsk resident on behalf of those living in the private sector of the Bilevo microdistrict regarding the restoration of public transport routes through the "Yeryomenko Actors Street" stop. Until recently, residents of the outskirts could get home by buses №№ 34, 27, and now only by fixed-route taxi. Inquiries to competent authorities were fruitless: they said that the nearest stops are within walking distance.

– If it is inconvenient for citizens, then no other arguments are needed to find ways to accommodate people, – Anatoly Linevich instructed the representatives of the state enterprise "Transport Operator".

From December 1, bus routes №№ 4, 106 of "Vitebskoblavtotrans" will pass through this stop.

ON THE GRANDMOTHER'S SHOULDERS

Representatives of the regional executive committee, administrations of the Vitebsk district and the regional center will seek a solution to the situation of a 73-year-old Vitebsk resident, as instructed by the Aide to the President. The already difficult life of the elderly woman took on a truly dramatic tone in retirement. Her daughter with her husband and young child, as well as her granddaughter with three children, lived in a two-room apartment in Novka. The woman lost her job at the local fruit and vegetable processing plant, went to Russia in search of earnings, and has had no news for over 4 years, including being on the wanted list for the second year. After that, the pensioner was overwhelmed by a wave of problems. Her son-in-law began to drink, and along with debts, there was a threat of losing his job, deprivation of parental rights, and transfer of the child to an orphanage.

– In this situation, I decided to move from Vitebsk to Novka to keep my husband from falling and remind him of his parental duty. My granddaughter and great-grandchildren moved into my one-room apartment in Vitebsk and registered there. I have achieved the minimum goal – I have taken my son-in-law in hand, I am making sure that he works and pays off his debt, even though I have to live only on my pension, – shared Svetlana Timofeyevna.

Meanwhile, the granddaughter decided to register with the city executive committee for housing improvement as a mother of many children. But she was refused. The reason is that since the grandmother was not registered as needy, and after the registration of the granddaughter with three children, her housing conditions worsened, the woman loses the right to be registered for housing improvement within 5 years. This is what the law says.

– I need sound advice on how to get out of this situation! I am counting on you, I have no strength to go on, – sighed Svetlana Timofeyevna.

– Indeed, there is a law, no one has the right to violate it, no matter how difficult or painful it may be for someone. At the same time, not all cases can be prescribed in the legislation. In each situation, one must proceed from life. The head of state constantly calls for this – to approach the resolution of citizens' problems, including from the standpoint of justice. We will look for a way out of the situation, taking into account the legislation, so that in the near future we can make a decision that suits you, – explained Anatoly Linevich.

A FAMILY STORY – THROUGH THE EYES OF A MAN

Not only women suffer from cunning alimony evaders who have not paid child support for years. The President's aide was approached by a 60-year-old resident of Vitebsk. For more than a year, the man has been trying to get alimony for his son from his ex-wife. The woman does not work, and a significant debt has accumulated – more than 13 thousand rubles. The housing issue exacerbates the situation.

As a possible solution, he asks for assistance in finding employment for his ex-wife so that, by receiving a salary, she can pay child support for her minor son. By the order of Anatoly Linevich, the justice department and the Department of Internal Affairs will deal with this issue.

Summing up the personal reception, Anatoly Linevich noted the variety of appeals received, including land disputes, housing issues, the search for justice in the relationship between a subordinate and a superior, and between a businessman and law enforcement agencies. Everyone wants justice, but they understand it differently. Therefore, there is nothing left but to strictly adhere to the law...
