For example, a resident of the village of Ryabchenki raised the issue of road quality, a part of which, about five km long from the Polotsk side, is in a deplorable state - potholes and pits make it impossible for passenger cars to pass normally. The issue of the quality of this road is relevant, and two other callers also raised the topic. In the near future, current repairs are planned, and in the spring, the road will be put in order. Patch repairs will also be carried out in the village itself.

Residents of the village of Belchitsa, which is adjacent to Polotsk, approached with a question about the installation of a pedestrian crossing on Novosyolov and Zheleznodorozhnaya streets. The population's proposal is to lay it across the railway tracks, but the railway workers are against it. Local authorities have put forward alternative proposals, and the issue will be resolved after discussion with local residents. The Chairman of the Polotsk District Executive Committee, Igor Markovich, added that in the future, the village may be included in the city.

Another resident at the reception asked for help in fundraising for the treatment of six-month-old Dasha Shepetovskaya. Doctors diagnosed her with "spinal muscular atrophy type 1". This is a rare disease, and three children in Belarus suffer from it. The girl's paternal cousin, who came to the reception, said that treatment in the country is possible, but the medicine needs to be purchased at her own expense. This requires more than $420,000 (198,000 has been raised). The family and concerned individuals are holding charity events, flash mobs, attracting celebrities and using social media. The girl's representatives asked for help in drawing attention to the problem. This issue will be addressed to the main department for healthcare of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the Ministry of Health.

Some issues require more detailed consideration. For example, a young mother with four children, one of whom has disabilities, asked for help to get on the waiting list for an apartment. It has been instructed to thoroughly investigate this matter.

Speaking to journalists, the President's Aide emphasized that in addition to traditional issues of housing and communal services, roads, and land disputes, residents of the Polotsk district raised the topic of their small homeland and maintaining order in the land. "They are interested in their native places, where they come and see how agricultural land is cultivated. Therefore, we will monitor that all land is cultivated, conduct land inventory, identify problems where they exist, and solve them. If people do not ignore this issue, there must be a reaction from the local authorities," said Anatoly Linevich.

The President's Aide added that a program for the improvement of courtyard areas and road surfaces has been created in Polotsk. "Special attention is paid to this," he noted.

During the reception, more than 20 appeals were received. Issues of city improvement, land, housing, and medical problems were raised.

Anatoly Linevich will also visit enterprises of the city and district today - OJSC "Technolit Polotsk", Polotsk Grain Processing Plant and agricultural enterprises, where he will familiarize himself with their work, working conditions and hold meetings with the staff.
