Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich is introducing a new practice of holding "direct telephone lines"
"If there are pauses between calls or immediately after a hot line on particularly sensitive issues requiring urgent measures, where it is clear how to act, one can simultaneously contact the heads of the districts from which the calls were received. Thus, local authorities will feel their responsibility to the people and will be able to promptly respond to the existing problem," said Anatoly Linevich.
For example, four calls were received today from the Senno district, during which the chairman of the district executive committee Vasily Cherednik was informed. As a result, local authorities are already aware of the problems of their residents and are разбираются in the situations.
According to Anatoly Linevich, holding direct telephone lines is an effective form of working with the population, as it allows one to become acquainted with a particular situation in a short period of time. "If, at the same time, you are in touch with the district leadership from which the appeal came, the effectiveness increases significantly," he noted.
In total, 23 applicants from the regional center, Orsha, Novopolotsk, Orsha, Dubrovno, Tolochin, Miory, Glubokoe, and Senno districts sought help on the direct telephone line to the Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region today. All issues were diverse. For example, in Vitebsk, the issue of a kindergarten remains acute for the residents of the Bilevo district. "The construction of a new large preschool institution will begin here next year, the project has been approved. For now, you need to be a little patient," Anatoly Linevich noted in a conversation with a многодетной mother. At the same time, he promised to check the situation and help with the placement of children if possible.
Several calls concerning the operation of housing and communal services and the condition of buildings, including their internal communications, were received from residents of Leningradskaya Street. "The calls immediately show where there are problems and require closer attention," stated the Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region. He emphasized that all issues will be thoroughly studied and measures will be taken to resolve them.
