Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Vitaly Vovk held a reception of citizens in Liozno
A resident of house 6, Chkalov Street, in the district center complained about the poor quality of water. The reason is that the well and the iron removal station are not working.
Representatives of Vitebskoblvodokanal, which owns the local water supply and sewerage networks, have been instructed to organize an urgent water delivery, a temporary connection from an existing water intake, and by April 1 – a permanent one with a larger diameter pipe.
In addition, this year the house will undergo major repairs, during which the water supply will also be reconstructed. While the material was being prepared for printing, it became known that the water had become cleaner.
A resident of the agro-town of Dobromysl received a consultation regarding his pension, and, at the suggestion of the Presidential Aide, the district authorities will also assist him in finding employment.
A pensioner from Liozno, who is the guardian of two grandchildren, was given a detailed explanation regarding changes in her housing conditions. Given the ambiguous situation in this family, the Presidential Aide instructed the relevant local services to figure out how she could be further assisted.
Vitaly Vovk received an application from a resident of Orsha concerning the determination of disability for consideration by the healthcare department of the regional executive committee.
The chairpersons of the horticultural associations "Vostochnaya" and "Luchesa" came to the reception with questions about the payment of land tax by legal entities (horticultural associations) for unused (vacant) land plots, as well as departmental reporting. They were advised to hold meetings of the association members in the near future with the participation of representatives of land management and tax services to analyze and clarify the situation for the interested parties, as well as to consider the possibilities of attracting owners of vacant plots to the association.
After hearing seven people and summarizing the reception, Vitaly Vovk noted that the issues relevant in Liozno are also characteristic of other regions of the oblast – land and housing and communal services. The authorities are capable of identifying and resolving them in a timely manner.
