The popularity of individual activities without state registration in the Vitebsk region has increased by almost 25%

November 8, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The number of residents of the Vitebsk region who have exercised their right to engage in activities without state registration has increased by almost a quarter in January-September compared to the same period in 2009, the press center of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties Inspectorate for the Vitebsk region informed a BELTA correspondent. This right is granted to citizens by Decree No. 703 of December 24, 2008. The normative act defines seven types of income-generating activities that citizens can carry out without registering as individual entrepreneurs. As of October 1, about 8,000 people are engaged in such activities in the region, the vast majority of whom (95.5%) provide services for renting out residential premises (their number increased by 22% compared to the same period in 2009). In addition, the number of residents providing services for growing agricultural products has increased by almost 25% (to 172 people). The number of citizens registered with the tax authorities as tutors has increased by more than 85% (to 113 people). In January-September, Br1.1 billion was received by the budget from this category of taxpayers. The right to carry out certain types of activities without state registration as an individual entrepreneur can be exercised on a declarative basis. To do this, it is only necessary to submit an application to the tax inspectorate and pay the tax before starting the activity. In this case, the tax is paid only for the periods in which the activity was carried out. Tax rates are established by decisions of the Vitebsk Regional Council of Deputies; detailed information can be obtained from the tax inspectorates at the place of residence. -0-
