The central building of the Senno hospital has been reopened after major repairs
Along with major repairs and modernization of engineering systems, the material and technical base has been significantly strengthened. Wards have been renovated with new furniture installed, and the number of oxygen points has been increased from 20 to 60, which allows for supplying 70% of the bed fund. Significant changes have affected all diagnostic departments.
New equipment has been purchased for the laboratory. The endoscopic service has been equipped in a modern way. The operating room and intensive care unit have been renovated. A rehabilitation room with exercise equipment has been created. The admission department meets the demands of the time.
The medical institution is successfully implementing the Ministry of Health's "Caring Polyclinic" project, aimed at improving the quality of medical services.
The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, emphasized that as the head of the Vitebsk region, he feels joy because another facility has become brighter, better, and more comfortable. He assured that the modernization of the healthcare system in Sennensky district will not end there. The Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, Mikhail Rusy, noted that despite the difficult times and sanctions pressure, the country is dynamically developing, which allows for finding funds and commissioning such facilities.
