The last auction for the sale of assets of OJSC "KIM" in Vitebsk will be held on April 25
However, it is unlikely that anyone harbors illusions: the industrial heritage of the past century will not be in demand at this stage, and the city authorities will have to focus on the redevelopment of the site – one of the effective ways to revive dilapidated industrial facilities and inefficiently used territories, and involve investors in this process.
Production buildings and infrastructure, combined into 11 lots, are being put up for auction at the main site of the enterprise on M. Gorky Street, with a total value of over 1.6 million rubles.
As reported by Mikhail Ivchenko, the bankruptcy trustee of "KIM", the creditors' meeting decided to complete the procedure for the realization of the debtor's property by April 30 of the current year.
Then, according to the general rule, unclaimed assets should be distributed among creditors to pay off their debts. The fate of the remaining real estate and infrastructure will be determined taking into account the position of the "Bellegprom" concern, which includes "KIM", and the regional executive committee.
In early April, an isolated premises with an area of about 133 sq. m on Akademika Pavlova Street, where the crisis manager and his team were located, was sold for almost 70.6 thousand rubles. However, this is, as they say, a drop in the ocean. Currently, the register of creditors' claims lists debts totaling over 17 million rubles, including outstanding obligations to the Social Protection Fund of the Population.
The Economic Court of the Vitebsk Region declared the enterprise bankrupt in August 2015. Since then, the liquidation procedure has been extended 7 times. The next court session on the results of the liquidation proceedings is scheduled for June 6, 2019.
