The last bell in the Vitebsk region will ring for almost 16,000 graduates
In the Vitebsk region, the last bell will ring on May 30 for 15,749 graduates, as reported by the main department for education of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
At the festive ceremonies, diplomas for secondary education will be solemnly awarded to 6,055 girls and boys. A corresponding document for basic education will be received by 9,694 ninth-graders.
The republican "Last Bell" will be held this year in Orsha. The Ice Arena of the city will host 1.5 thousand of the best students from all over the republic, including 700 school graduates from the Orsha district. Graduation parties, filled with numerous congratulations and an obligatory sunrise meeting, will take place in the region based at schools or cultural institutions on June 8-9. Traditionally, alcohol sales will be restricted on these days.
