The traffic police post, mineral water well, and estate will be available for purchase at auctions in the Vitebsk region

The building of the former traffic police post, a sauna with a swimming pool, a mineral water well, and even a noble estate can be bought at auctions in the Vitebsk region in 2010, Larisa Shcheglova, head of the auctions and tenders department of the Vitebsk Regional Territorial Fund of State Property "Vitebskoblimushchestvo", told a BELTA correspondent. It is planned to put up for sale more than 200 unused state property objects. The starting price of the property is set from one basic unit to Br4.2 billion for a specialized building for medical, preventive and sanatorium-resort purposes in Novopolotsk. The starting price of the former traffic police post building on a busy international highway in the Beshenkovichi district is set at Br30 million, a 532 m deep mineral water borehole in the Gorodok district - Br178 million, and a manor house in the Miory district - Br185.1 million. However, a significant number of sale objects are former warehouses, workshop buildings, workshops, and objects in military towns. The next auction is scheduled for March 18. Dates for the rest will be announced later and posted on the official website of "Vitebskoblimushchestvo". According to "Vitebskoblimushchestvo", in 2009 the fund sold more than 200 real estate objects (including 159 with a starting sale price equal to one basic unit), located on 114 land plots, for Br5.4 billion. In general, in the region in 2009, it was planned to involve 565 objects of communal property in economic circulation in various ways; in fact, 579 objects were involved, which is 102.5% of the annual target. -0-
