Postavy businessman shot his partner

A supplier businessman faces up to 15 years in prison for attempting to murder his partner, investigator-criminalist of the Vitebsk Regional Prosecutor's Office Alexander Kazakov told a BELTA correspondent. When disagreements arose between business partners regarding the organization of business, one of them, a resident of Postavy born in 1975, could not come up with anything better than to follow the dubious principle of "no person - no problem." Under the pretext of "discussing," he lured the victim into the forest and shot him. The victim was saved by his wife. After a phone call from her husband, who said he was "going to a showdown," the woman went in search of him herself. On the road near the village of Yunki, she found her family car, and next to it, her husband in an unconscious state. Thanks to timely medical assistance, the 26-year-old man, who had sustained two severe gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen, survived. Employees of the Postavy District Department of Internal Affairs and the prosecutor's office also acted promptly, quickly identifying and detaining the suspect. A criminal case has been initiated against him for attempted murder. An investigation is underway. -0-
