Postavsky Dairy Plant is seeking an investor for the implementation of a cheese production project

JSC "Postavy Dairy Plant" intends to implement a large-scale project for the creation of cheese production, the director of the enterprise Ivan Yukhno told a BELTA correspondent. In particular, the enterprise plans to build a plant with a capacity of at least 30 tons of cheese per day. To create a high-tech production, specialists from the Postavy plant have already familiarized themselves with the organization of work at the best cheese production enterprises in Belarus, Ukraine, and Lithuania. "Currently, options for creating the future facility, sources of funding are being discussed, and foreign investors interested in implementing the project are being sought," the head noted. Postavy Dairy Plant produces processed, hard, and semi-hard cheeses. The elite cheese of the Swiss group "Tyzenhaus", "Cheddar-Bel" and the cheese "Kantali" with a fat content of 30%, which belongs to the dietary food group, have gained the greatest recognition among consumers. "At the same time, cheeses currently account for about 15% of the total production volume, so the plant plans to actively develop this area," Ivan Yukhno added. In January-April of the current year, the plant produced products worth Br15 billion, which is 40% higher than the same period last year. Dairy products worth $1.1 million were exported to Russia and far abroad countries. The enterprise specializes in the production of cheeses, whole milk products, casein, produces ice cream, mayonnaise - a total of more than 40 types of products. The total number of employees is 268 people. -0-
