The Postavy Dairy Plant invested Br1.3 billion in production development from January to July.

August 17, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. JSC "Postavy Dairy Plant" invested Br1.3 billion in production development in January-July this year, the enterprise informed a BELTA correspondent. One of the main projects this year was the construction of a 630 kW transformer substation. Equipment of domestic and Lithuanian production for it has already been purchased. The new facility is planned to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of this year. The total amount of funds allocated for the project implementation will be about Br600 million. Currently, the enterprise is also implementing the first stage of reconstruction of water treatment facilities. The project with an investment volume of Br10 billion is planned to be completed by the end of 2012. Under the re-equipment program, the plant purchased vehicles for transporting finished products and raw materials, a refrigeration unit for producing ice water with a capacity of 190 kg/hour, a butter packaging machine, and other technological equipment this year. In total, it is planned to allocate about Br4 billion for the modernization of the enterprise in 2010. In January-July, Postavy Dairy Plant produced products worth Br35 billion, or 107.6% compared to the same period last year. Sales profitability was over 3%. Export supplies were carried out to Russia, Kazakhstan, the USA, Singapore, and Poland, with products worth $4.1 million sent there (117.6% compared to January-July 2009). The share of exports in the total sales volume was about 37%. The energy saving indicator is minus 22.2% with a target of minus 12%. The enterprise specializes in the production of cheeses, whole milk products, casein, and also produces ice cream, mayonnaise - more than 40 product names in total. The group of whole milk products includes over 20 types. The total number of employees is over 280 people. -0-
