Tax revenues to the budget of the Vitebsk region from payers under the simplified system increased by 25%

Taxpayers of the Vitebsk region applying the simplified taxation system paid about Br18 billion to the budget for January-June of the current year, which is 25% higher than the figure for the same period last year. In total, more than 7.5 thousand economic entities and individual entrepreneurs apply this system in the region, the first deputy head of the tax inspection for the Vitebsk region, Tatyana Myasoedova, told a BELTA correspondent. Another positive trend this year is the almost twofold increase in budget revenues from private unitary enterprises. For six months, this category of taxpayers paid about Br10 billion to the budget, although their number decreased by 178 enterprises to 1.7 thousand economic entities compared to the first half of 2008. In total, the revenues of the consolidated budget of the Vitebsk region in the first half of the year amounted to over Br1.8 trillion, or 101.4% of the plan, with Br25.5 billion attracted to the budget above the plan. Over Br1 trillion was received by the republican budget, which is 103.3% of the plan, and about Br840 billion to the local budget (99.1%). Almost all districts of the region ensured the fulfillment of the revenue plan, noted Tatyana Myasoedova. In the structure of revenues, the largest share of receipts comes from state enterprises and organizations - they formed 86.5% of the revenue part of the regional budget. Commercial structures provided 10% of revenues, individual entrepreneurs - 2.2%, and individuals - 1.3%. As of July 1, the debt of economic entities of the Vitebsk region for budget payments amounted to Br28.4 billion and decreased by Br4.2 billion compared to the beginning of the year. In the course of enforcement measures, the region's tax authorities eliminated budget arrears in the amount of Br50 billion, which accounted for about 3% of total revenue receipts. Over the past one and a half years, the percentage of forced debt collection in the region has decreased almost threefold, which indicates a high level of tax discipline among taxpayers, noted Tatyana Myasoedova. In total, almost 454 thousand taxpayers participate in the formation of the revenue part of the consolidated budget of the region, including over 15 thousand legal entities, almost 30 thousand individual entrepreneurs, as well as about 410 thousand individuals. -0-
