The potential and prospects of Belarus's tool manufacturing industry will be presented at a seminar in Orsha

The potential and development prospects of domestic tool production will be presented on November 11 in Orsha at a seminar organized by the Ministry of Industry at the base of RUP "Orsha Tool Plant". This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the marketing department of the Orsha enterprise. Representatives of about 100 enterprises will take part in the event, including major manufacturers of metal-cutting and assembly tools, as well as potential customers of tool products. The main goal of the event is to present the capabilities of Belarusian tool companies, new directions for the production of high-tech products, as well as to study and exchange experience in the field of new technologies. Specialists will consider the state and prospects for the development of tool production for equipping modern high-performance equipment, ways to increase production efficiency using innovations from domestic tool manufacturers. Tool enterprises will present an overview of new types of products planned for release in 2010. Potential consumers - these are machine-tool and machine-building plants, transport, energy and agro-industrial enterprises - will have the opportunity to assess prospects and outline possible areas of cooperation with tool manufacturers, the plant's marketing department added. -0-
