We congratulate you on the 85th anniversary of the Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University!
Studying within the walls of this higher education institution has always been prestigious, including for young people from foreign countries. In 1984, for achievements in training personnel for practical healthcare in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America, the institute was awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. In 1998, the university was the first in the republic to receive the status of a medical university.
It is gratifying that today the authoritative higher education institution, VSMU, has earned international recognition: it holds a high position in the global university rankings. The institution actively implements integration processes of educational, research, and entrepreneurial environments and demonstrates a high level of IT technology development.
As part of the university's anniversary celebration, scientific and practical conferences are being held, one of which is dedicated to a new model of medical education. VSMU traditionally sets an example in training highly professional specialists for the healthcare of the future.
The pride of the region is its teaching staff, people who have dedicated their lives to medical science and mentorship, and the university's graduates who work selflessly for the benefit of human health.
