Dear women!
I sincerely congratulate you on the spring holiday – Women's Day!
On this day, we express our sincere gratitude to mothers, wives, sisters, and colleagues for their tireless care, responsiveness, and ability to make the world bright and joyful. Women are endowed with the great power of love, kindness, and empathy, which transform the world, create harmony in family relationships, and inspire feats and labor achievements.
There is nothing more beautiful in life than the name Mother. 583 residents of the Pridvinye region have been awarded the Order of Mother for giving birth to and raising five or more children. In 1987, for a high moral example in strengthening the family and raising children, the regional executive committee established a prize named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, Zinaida Tusnolobova-Marchenko. 322 of our countrywomen have been awarded the prize.
A deep bow to the participants of the Great Patriotic War, concentration camp prisoners, home front workers, widows, and mothers who lost their husbands and sons, who honestly fulfilled their international duty.
Honoring women, we recognize your immense merits to the family, society, and the state, and we rightly take pride in our countrywomen. In healthcare, education, culture, the agro-industrial complex, light industry, trade, and the financial and banking sector of the Vitebsk region, the majority are representatives of the fair sex. More than twenty thousand women hold leadership positions of all ranks in the region. An active civic stance, a high educational and professional level, initiative, and a responsible attitude to work have become integral features of our contemporaries.
I wish you, dear women of the Pridvinye region, warmth and comfort in your homes, health and prosperity in your families, peace and well-being! May spring bring you a good mood, flowers, and smiles!
