Dear residents of the Vitebsk region!

I sincerely congratulate Orthodox Christians on the bright holiday of Christmas!

The birth of the Savior has become a symbol of faith, hope, and harmony for millions of people, a moral compass. The mystery of Christian love and the greatness of good help us resist vanity and discord, strengthen our striving for the ideals of humanism and justice, inspire us to create and preserve genuine life values.

The Orthodox Church makes a significant contribution to the development of spiritual and family traditions of the Dvina region. A Cooperation Program with the Vitebsk and Polotsk Eparchies is being implemented in the region, and a constructive dialogue between the authorities and the church is underway, aimed at solving social issues of society.

On these bright days, I wish every family mutual understanding, well-being, and joy.

May the light of the Bethlehem star illuminate our path to peace and tranquility on earth!
