I congratulate you on the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia!
The experience of the Union State is of practical interest for integration associations in the post-Soviet space.
The Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation are exploring space together, building a nuclear power plant, implementing programs in mechanical engineering and radio electronics, and interacting in foreign and defense policy. Strong ties are being built at the interregional level based on good neighborliness. Economic cooperation is carried out with all federal districts of Russia.
A vivid positive example of joint cultural development is the International Arts Festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". Belarusian-Russian forums, conferences, and tournaments are held in the fields of education, sports, and tourism. Belarusian youth study at universities in the Russian Federation, and students from Russia study at Belarusian universities.
Today, the Union State is seeking new solutions and approaches in strategic planning, production, and trade interaction. Through joint purposeful work, we strive to ensure the competitiveness of national economies, the well-being of regions, and strengthen defense capabilities.
I wish the residents of the region, Russian friends and partners success in their creative work, health, happiness, and well-being! May the boldest plans be realized, and may peace, harmony, and mutual understanding reign in our common Belarusian-Russian home!
