I cordially congratulate Orthodox Christians on the bright holiday of Christmas!

For two millennia, it has given people great hope and faith. The enduring values of kindness and love inspire us to acts of mercy and help us to more deeply comprehend the meaning of the Gospel commandments, which are based on boundless kindness. In these bright days, our hearts are filled with the joy of the triumph of Love for our neighbor, we are strengthened in our desire to selflessly work for the good of the Motherland, to preserve peace and tranquility on earth, to resist vanity and discord.

The Orthodox Church makes a significant contribution to the preservation and enrichment of spiritual and moral traditions. In the region, Programs of measures for cooperation with the Vitebsk and Polotsk dioceses are being implemented, with which an interested, constructive dialogue is being conducted, aimed at solving the most important social issues of society.
