The memory of the heroic past of our people lives in the hearts of millions. May 9, 1945, went down in history as the day that embodied the feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism, the strength of spirit, and faith in Victory. In major battles and in skirmishes on nameless heights, the front-line soldiers stood to the death, fought for every house, every street, every settlement. Partisans and underground fighters made a significant contribution to the liberation of the country from occupiers.

The generation of Victors is an example of honor, patriotism, and courage! You defended the country in difficult wartime, rebuilt it from ruins, and strengthened the economic, military, and social potential of the state. You teach us love for the Motherland, loyalty to ideals, and love of life. The experience of the older generation, which knows the true price of the peace won, is important for the youth.

Our duty is to preserve the truth about the Great Patriotic War, about the legendary feat of the Soviet people, to give a worthy rebuff to the rising neofascism, to strengthen the country's defense capability and state sovereignty.
