We are celebrating a great holiday - the Resurrection of Christ. Easter is a symbol of renewal, a life-giving source of humanism, and serves to unite people around the ideals of mercy and brotherly love.
The Resurrection of Christ strengthens spirituality, faith in good and justice, and brings people peace and joy.
The roots of Christianity in Belarus are on the Vitebsk land. At the end of the 10th century, Polotsk became the center of Christianization of the Belarusian lands. The spiritual renewal of society has always been based on the unity of peoples, love for one's neighbor, and respect for the Fatherland.
The role of Christianity is growing in today's constantly changing world, and it is especially important in the spiritual and moral education of the younger generation and the formation of their worldview. The state and the church have a common goal – the spiritual revival and education of the individual.
May the triumph of the Resurrection be a call for us to strive to live in harmony and respect for each other, to work conscientiously, to help those in need of care and attention, and to preserve peace on earth – by following the eternal and immutable evangelical truths.
On the eve of this Great Day, I wish you strong health, happiness, well-being, and goodness, and inexhaustible spiritual and physical strength.
