On this day, we express our sincere gratitude to mothers, grandmothers, sisters, wives, colleagues, - all the glorious daughters of the Dvina region for the life, love, and tireless care they have given us. You make our world kinder, brighter, more harmonious, inspiring us to feats and labor achievements.
There is no more beautiful name in life than the name of Mother! 607 women of the Vitebsk region have been awarded the Order of Mother for giving birth to and raising five or more children. In 1987, for a high moral example in strengthening the family and raising children, the regional executive committee established a prize named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Zinaida Tusnolobova-Marchenko. 347 women of the Dvina region have been awarded the prize.
A deep bow to the participants of the Great Patriotic War, concentration camp prisoners, home front workers, widows and mothers who lost husbands and sons who honestly fulfilled their international duty.
The authority of a modern woman is based on purposefulness, a creative and responsible approach to work. Your talent, knowledge, and diligence contribute to scientific and cultural progress, and the dynamic development of the country's national economy. At the same time, you do not lose your soulfulness and charm, remain good mothers, wives, and homemakers, faithful and reliable companions.
More than twenty thousand women work in leadership positions of all ranks in the region. You are distinguished by an active life stance, initiative, organizational skills, a high educational and professional level, and a responsible attitude to work.
