Congratulation of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee A.N. Kosinets on Knowledge Day

Dear friends!

I cordially congratulate you on Knowledge Day!

Education and science play a key role in the modern world. Innovative technologies have become the engine of progress, and to keep pace with the times, a person needs to constantly replenish their knowledge base.

Today, on the eve of Knowledge Day, young people – the future of our country – will gather in the auditoriums and halls of lyceums, colleges, universities, and academies. In the Vitebsk region, 500 general secondary education institutions are opening their doors – 11,239 first-graders will take their seats at school desks, which is half a thousand more children than in the past academic year.

The construction of 7 new educational institutions continues in the region. Both in small rural and large urban schools, there is one goal – to provide quality education for everyone, to form a correct civic position, moral and ethical values, and to develop children's abilities and talents.

This year, the first lesson is dedicated to an important topic: “How dear you are to my heart, beloved Belarus!”“ The young men and women of the country must know the history of their land, their region well. The future of the state is in a developed economy, which can only be built by creatively thinking and spiritually rich individuals.

Knowledge Day is a national holiday.

Dear teachers, educators! May every day of your work bring you true satisfaction and joy from communicating with young, curious people.

Dear parents, pupils, students! Modern quality education is impossible without your active participation in the educational process, diligence and patience, and an attentive attitude to the events taking place in society.

I sincerely wish you health, happiness, well-being, good luck, and success in achieving high results!

Good luck on your journey to the land of knowledge!

Sincerely,

Alexander Kosinets,

Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional

Executive Committee
