Congratulations of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on Mother's Day
Dear women!
I sincerely congratulate you on Mother's Day!
This bright holiday is dear to every person's heart; parental warmth has been comforting us since the first minute of life. A mother's love and care help us overcome any adversity.
The celebration of Mother's Day in our country testifies to the immutability of family values, as a strong family is the key to the prosperity of society. This day is a good reason to tell our mothers that we love them. You inspire and encourage us with your kindness, patience, optimism, and faith.
We bow low to mothers with many children and women raising adopted children. In the Pridvinye region, there are 6600 large families and 716 families that have taken in children left without parental care. It is wonderful when traditional values take root in families, a healthy lifestyle is cultivated, and love and care prevail.
A mother's labor is recognized with high state awards. The most significant is the Order of Mother. This high award has been bestowed upon 648 women in the Vitebsk region who have given birth to and properly raised five or more children.
To enhance the prestige of motherhood and strengthen the institution of the family, and to promote experience in child-rearing in the Pridvinye region, the regional executive committee established a prize named after Hero of the Soviet Union Zinaida Mikhailovna Tusnolobova-Marchenko. It has been awarded to 397 women.
We express boundless gratitude to the women of the older generation – our mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers. Thank you for your patience and courage, warmth and kindness. We are eternally indebted to you.
I sincerely wish you, dear mothers, a long and happy life surrounded by loved ones. May your children live up to your expectations, delight you with their achievements, and offer you care and attention. I wish you strong health, harmony, well-being and prosperity in your homes, happiness and love!
Sincerely,
Nikolay Sherstnev,
Chairman of the
Vitebsk Regional
Executive Committee.
