From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate you on a significant date – the 75th anniversary of the formation of the Vitebsk region.
You can rightfully be proud of your ancient and beautiful land, the glorious pages of its history, and truly priceless monuments of architecture and art. For a long time, both in our country and far beyond its borders, your region has been known as the birthplace of many outstanding people who have glorified our Fatherland.
Today, the Vitebsk region is undergoing active modernization of promising industries: petrochemicals, instrument engineering, production of building materials, flax fiber, and food products. Cities and towns are acquiring a modern look, and at the same time, the spiritual and cultural traditions of their residents are carefully preserved. Sustainable and dynamic development has become possible thanks to the workers of the region, their selfless service to their native land. I am confident that you will continue to make a significant contribution to the well-being and prosperity of Belarus.
