The right to conclude a land lease agreement for the construction and maintenance of a recreation center in the Vitebsk region was sold at auction with an increase in the starting sale price by 23 times, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center, which organized the bidding.
Two potential buyers showed interest in the lot. The tense bidding ended on the 37th step of the auctioneer when one of the participants offered Br181.5 thousand, while the starting sale price was set at about Br7.8 thousand. Following the auction, the winner refrained from commenting on the future investment project. The land plot of more than 6.1 hectares is located north of the village of Sosnovka in the water protection zone of Lake Gorodno, not far from the regional center. It is leased for 25 years. The money raised from the sale of the lot will go to the budget of the Vitebsk region.
