Law enforcement agencies have expanded the search radius for the missing boys in Vitebsk

March 28, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Law enforcement agencies in Vitebsk have been searching for two boys for four days, the head of the Zheleznodorozhny District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk, Alexander Chernyavsky, told a BELTA correspondent. The search radius has been expanded to include conscripts of the internal troops. In addition to the residential area where the children live, they are being searched for throughout the city, in suburban villages, and in dacha communities. Divers are exploring the bottom of the Western Dvina River. Volunteers are also providing all possible assistance. Missing person posters have been put up all over the city. "The search for the schoolchildren does not stop for a minute and will continue until they are found," the head of the District Department of Internal Affairs assured. The mother of one of the boys hopes that the children have gone on a trip. She wrote about this on her page on the social network "VKontakte". On the same page, she receives messages from those who have seen children with similar descriptions, and many people express words of support to the unfortunate parents and offer help in the search. As reported, the alert about the disappearance of two children - Igor Galimsky and Vladislav Yurov, born in 2002 and 2003 - was received by the Zheleznodorozhny District Department of Internal Affairs of Vitebsk around 8 p.m. on March 24. According to the parents, the children came from the gymnasium, went for a walk around 3 p.m., and did not return. The entire staff of the District Department of Internal Affairs - about 150 people - was immediately put on alert, then the personnel of the Vitebsk garrison of internal affairs joined the search, and the territory was also surveyed by helicopter. Given that the children live in a residential area not far from the Western Dvina, divers are exploring the riverbed. Information about them was sent to all district police departments and handed over to the drivers of regular buses. -0-
