The Towel Festival and Doll Competition will be held in the City of Masters at the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk"

This year, the "City of Masters," which has become a constant companion to the international arts festival, will host the festival-competition of doll and toy makers "Zabava-2015."

This year, the "City of Masters," which has become a constant companion to the international arts festival, will host the festival-competition of doll and toy makers "Zabava-2015". This type of decorative and applied art encompasses many folk crafts: knitting, sewing, weaving from willow and straw, wood carving, and ceramics. Today, handmade toys and dolls are gaining great popularity. This is evidenced by past exhibitions, including those held within the framework of "Slavyansky Bazaar". For example, last year an exhibition by the Baltic Guild of Art Doll and Toy Makers was presented, which was very popular with visitors.

Special attention at this year's festival will also be paid to the rushnyk (embroidered towel). The regional festival "Rushnyk – Yak Lyos" will take place on Freedom Square.
