The proposals of the residents of Glubokoye, received by the public reception, will be considered during the preparation for the All-Belarusian People's Assembly

For almost a month, a district public reception has been operating in Glubokoye to collect socially significant initiatives, constructive proposals on constitutional reform, and other pressing issues of the country and the region from the public.

The other day, the First Deputy Chairman of the Glubokoye District Executive Committee – Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food, Vladimir Pashkevich, was on duty at the reception. Five phone calls were received, with questions mainly concerning regional issues.

The first to reach the public reception that day was Anna Vasilyevna. Expressing support for the country's leadership's position on various current issues, she placed particular emphasis on the importance of holding the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

The resident of Glubokoye also thanked for the work being done to improve the settlements of the district. In response, Vladimir Gennadievich noted that this is largely due to every resident who makes a feasible contribution to this good cause. For example, for many years, a number of campaigns have been successfully implemented in the district center, including "Gift to the City," within which residents of Glubokoye install small architectural forms and tidy up parks and squares.

– That's exactly what I wanted to say, the practice of holding various community clean-up days should be continued, – Anna Vasilyevna emphasized. – Firstly, it teaches labor and fosters a respectful attitude towards it in the younger generation, and secondly, it helps to make our region even more beautiful. Especially since in 2022, Glubokoye will host the regional "Dazhynki" festival.

The second call continued the topic of preparation for the festival-fair of agricultural workers. Marina Ivanovna, also a resident of Glubokoye, expressed her gratitude to the district leadership for their care for cleanliness and order on the streets of the city and rural settlements.

But the main topic of her appeal was: how soon will another school be built in the city? The resident of Glubokoye argued her concern by the fact that some children study in the second shift.

Vladimir Gennadievich confirmed that the district administration had raised this issue more than once, and it is also under the control of the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, Vladimir Andreichenko. By the middle of next year, they plan to prepare the design and estimate documentation. The school will be built in a new residential microdistrict, where 12 apartment buildings, a kindergarten for 200 places, and a shopping center have been built in recent years. There are plans for eight more multi-story buildings.

Olga Petrovna, a resident of the village of Zaprudye, inquired whether an increase in the purchase price of milk is planned in the future, and if there is such a possibility, this request should be forwarded to higher authorities. Vladimir Pashukevich noted that personal subsidiary farming is not only natural products on the tables of villagers and townspeople but also an additional source of income.

In terms of the number of individual milk collectors, Glubochina has repeatedly led among the rural districts of the region. Milk from private farms is sent to the dairy and canning plant, whose products are exported to many countries around the world. Therefore, the requirements for the raw materials procured are high.

Anastasia Yuryevna from Glubokoye inquired whether conditions for disabled people would be provided in the under-construction swimming pool. This concerns the ongoing reconstruction of the district physical culture and health center building. The main goal of the transformation is a swimming pool with four lanes, each 25 meters long. One of them is a training lane for children and beginner swimmers. The project includes the purchase of special equipment for people with disabilities.

However, perhaps the most pressing issue raised on this day concerned the possibility of introducing a moratorium on the death penalty in Belarus.

All received requests and proposals have been sent to the regional executive committee for consideration during the preparation for the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Regional issues have been taken under control by district specialists. Those who applied will be given answers.

In November, a number of appeals were also received from residents of the district. For example, a proposal was made to increase the minimum voting age and to strengthen the patriotic education of the younger generation.

Anton Antonovich from Glubokoye, in particular, called the All-Belarusian People's Assembly an authoritative dialogue platform where various issues can and should be resolved. He also expressed his opinion on the need to leave the country's existing symbols unchanged and to preserve the state status of the Belarusian and Russian languages.

According to Lyudmila Karnilovich, Head of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the District Executive Committee, information about the work of the district public reception is actively covered on social networks and on the website of the District Executive Committee. In December, six more receptions will be organized, which will be conducted not only by deputy chairmen of the district executive committee, but also by heads of departments, as well as the chairman of the district organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan" Anton Zhdanovich.
