A marble beef production enterprise may appear in the Lepel district

An enterprise for the production of marbled beef may appear in the Lepel district (Vitebsk region). This was announced today in Vitebsk to journalists by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Slovakia to Belarus, Jozef Migash, on the sidelines of the Belarusian-Slovak business forum "Innovations - the path to successful integration".

"I visited the Lepel district, looked at the lands that the Belarusian side offers us for organizing an agricultural enterprise. There is good infrastructure, very good conditions - there are lakes, pastures. A promising enterprise for the production of marbled beef can be created," said the ambassador. He noted that to implement the plan, it is necessary to purchase pedigree animals, undergo certification, etc.

"Now we need to calculate how much money will be needed, where and at what price we can obtain a pure breed that would meet modern trends in marbled beef. We will talk with Slovak investors, offer them to work here, convince them. But they are specialists and must give their expert assessment, determine the pros and cons, refine the project into a real business plan, which we will implement, acting strictly according to the rules and calculations," said the diplomat. He emphasized that the calculations should be carried out meticulously so that the created enterprise is successful and profitable.

Jozef Migash noted that the topic of cooperation in the field of energy will also be continued at the forum. "Our specialists have arrived, who will discuss the construction of a hydroelectric power station on the Western Dvina. They are ready for this conversation," the ambassador stated. He emphasized that in modern economic conditions, one must be strict and pragmatic. "Money should not be thrown around. Our Slavic soul must be complemented by normal Western pragmatism, and then there will be success in business," the diplomat is convinced. The interlocutor specifically emphasized that cooperation in both agriculture and energy is still at a preliminary stage. It is too early to say that the implementation has begun,

can only be done after drawing up a business plan. Problematic issues that arise on the path of implementing Belarusian-Slovak cooperation plans in the Vitebsk region are planned to be discussed at a meeting between Jozef Migash and the leadership of the regional executive committee, which is scheduled for tomorrow. The Belarusian-Slovak Business Forum "Innovations - a Path to Successful Integration" is one of the events of the Days of Slovakia, which will be held in Vitebsk during the "Slavianski Bazaar".

The forum itself will last until July 14 and will become a platform for meetings between representatives of business and authorities of Belarus with foreign partners, associations for the support of small and medium-sized businesses, and relevant financial institutions. The program includes seminars, round tables on various topics, contact and cooperation exchanges, and more. Participants will be able to discuss prospects for cooperation in the fields of energy, mechanical engineering, woodworking, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, light industry, tourism, and health improvement.
