The enterprise "Vitstroytekmash" became the winner of the republican competition of innovative projects in 2012.

The organizers are traditionally the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The best innovative project this time was recognized as the project "Creation of production for the output of lifting and transport equipment and expansion of the list of services provided," presented by Private Unitary Enterprise "Vitstroytehmash." The award was received by the director, member of the Association of Employers and Entrepreneurs, Andrey Sidorov, in Minsk on New Year's Eve.

The Vitebsk enterprise is engaged in the production of truck-mounted aerial platforms, which are sold not only in Belarus but also in CIS countries. High-strength structural steels from a Swiss firm and Italian hydraulic systems are used for their production, which has made it possible to reduce the metal intensity of the machine's structure by 40 percent while maintaining excellent load-lifting characteristics. In addition, the company also produces other lifting and construction equipment. Developments are carried out by its own design department in collaboration with Western companies.
