Vitebsk region enterprises are represented at the largest aerospace exhibition in Zhukovsky

Предприятия Витебщины представлены на крупнейшей аэрокосмической выставке в Жуковском

From August 25 to 30, the Moscow region's Zhukovsky city hosts the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) at the Gromov Flight Research Institute airfield. The largest aerospace exhibition, held biennially, has gathered representatives from 584 Russian and 156 foreign corporations and companies from 30 countries this year.

The high level of the event is evidenced by the fact that President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin attended the salon's opening. In his welcoming address, he emphasized that regardless of the current international political situation, MAKS, as before, will serve as an effective platform for expert communication, development of industrial cooperation, and search for new partners.

It is gratifying to note that the list of participants in this large-scale forum also includes enterprises from the Vitebsk region. JSC "Display Design Bureau", along with its serial products, plans to showcase its advanced developments at MAKS: the VMC-26.2 LCD video monitor, which maintains operability under mechanical shock of 500 g without shock absorbers; the unified panel computer UPK 15; the MDC-054E aviation display with specialized green backlighting and ultra-high brightness of 5000 cd/m²; and microdisplay indication systems in various configurations. The operation of the video monitor in boiling water will be demonstrated daily at the Vitebsk manufacturer's stand.

JSC "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" is also participating in the salon. In total, the Belarusian delegation, headed by Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Sergey Gurulev, includes representatives from about 20 organizations working in the defense sector of the economy.

During MAKS-2015, the Belarusian side plans to hold negotiations and meetings with the leadership of the Federal Executive Authorities, organizations, and enterprises of the Russian Federation, as well as with heads of foreign delegations visiting the exhibition, regarding the prospects for further cooperation in the military-technical field.
