Vitebsk region enterprises plan to sign export contracts worth Br55 million at the Forum of Regions

"The forum program also includes a fair for the sale of Belarusian products, where manufacturers from the Vitebsk region such as Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory, Glubokoye Condensed Milk Factory, Orsha Meat Canning Factory, and Vitba Confectionery Factory will present their products in a wide assortment. These are well-known brands among Russians, and their products are in high demand. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to evaluate and purchase them. Also, according to preliminary information, as part of the preparation and holding of the forum, export enterprises of the region plan to conclude contracts for the supply of our products to Russian regions worth 1.7 billion Russian rubles," the committee noted.

Innovative products of the region's industrial enterprises will be presented in a thematic Belarusian exposition. The business part of the forum is expected to be attended by the heads of the largest companies in the region - SOOO "Management Company of the Holding "Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company "Marko", SOOO "Belwest", OJSC "Polotsk-Steklovolokno", as well as the administration of the FEZ "Vitebsk" and other participants. The delegation of the Vitebsk region will be headed by the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee Nikolai Sherstnev; the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev will also be part of it.

The forum plans to sign cooperation agreements between the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee and the governments of the Saratov region and the Stavropol Territory. It is expected that the heads of Vitebsk and Glubokoye districts will sign cooperation agreements with partner regions from Russia. To hold negotiations on the development of interregional cooperation, the heads of the Polotsk District and Novopolotsk City Executive Committees will come to the forum.
