Enterprises of the Vitebsk region took part in the exhibition-conference “Construction and Improvement – 2013” in Kaluga

The "Galantus" exhibition center hosted stands from over 50 organizations from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Our country was represented by enterprises from Vitebsk and Orsha. Among them were ODO NPP "Termopass", ChUP "Polymerkonstruktsiya", "Vitstroytekmash", "Spetssistema", the "Vitebsk" free economic zone, RSU Vityaz, and others. Over two days, the forum was attended by about 300 specialists in construction, industry, energy, and housing and communal services from the three countries. The main objective was the exchange of experience and the establishment of business contacts. As a result, an agreement on mutual cooperation was signed between the Kaluga Chamber of Commerce and Industry and KUKUP "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center". The investment potential of our region was also presented at the exhibition.

In addition, as noted by Alexander Kravchenko, Head of the Department of the Vitebsk Regional Department for Supervision of the Rational Use of Fuel and Energy Resources, the experience of implementing state energy saving policy in the Vitebsk region caused a great resonance and interest among conference participants and the Russian media. This provides broad opportunities for further interaction between regions and expansion of contacts.
