Enterprises of the Vitebsk region produced Br4.8 billion worth of industrial products on the day of the subbotnik.

On April 16, enterprises of the Vitebsk region produced industrial goods worth Br4.8 billion on the day of the subbotnik, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Economy Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. Employees of state-owned and private enterprises worked at their workplaces, and villagers worked in the fields - mass sowing is beginning in the region. Many people worked at housing construction sites and the reconstruction of medical facilities, landscaped military gravesites, tidied up parks and squares, and prepared tourist facilities for the summer season. In Vitebsk, the main subbotnik sites included Victory Park, the reconstruction of the Vitebsk Concert Hall, where, like in the Summer Amphitheater, events of the Slavianski Bazaar Arts Festival are held, as well as a kindergarten under construction in the new Bilevo microdistrict. Near this microdistrict, the Vitebsk Zoo is being built, where subbotnik participants prepared the site for construction. Townspeople assisted the Voronovo boarding house for the elderly and disabled in tidying up the adjacent territory. A total of over 525,000 residents of the region took part in the subbotnik. Br2.16 billion was transferred to the republican subbotnik fund.
