Vitebsk region enterprises should start producing branded products - A. Kosinets

"It is time for Vitebsk enterprises to stop being an intermediate link for large manufacturers, it is necessary to focus on the production of final, branded products," said the governor. As soon as the parent branch stopped, its suppliers, engaged in the production of components, were also forced to stop production. "And the reason is not in the crisis, but in personnel," he is sure.

Enterprises of the region still do not master the production of in-demand products that are imported. According to the trade department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, only 60% of food products and 10% of industrial products sold in the region are produced locally. The region still does not produce curd products, butter with vegetable additives, which are in high demand among consumers. According to Alexander Kosinets, the "Vityaz" enterprise is capable of mastering the production of hair dryers, coffee makers, blenders, and other household appliances, which can well replace imported analogues. Other enterprises also have broad opportunities for mastering in-demand product types.

Alexander Kosinets demanded that the heads of enterprises review the range of products manufactured in the region and strengthen the staff of design bureaus. In the near future, Br40 billion will be directed to the technical re-equipment of enterprises in the dairy industry. -0-
