This point of view was expressed by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent about the implementation of Directive No. 4 "On the Development of Entrepreneurial Initiative and Stimulation of Business Activity in the Republic of Belarus" in the region. Small and medium-sized businesses, individual entrepreneurs can contribute to the effective development of all sectors of the economy, Alexander Kosinets is confident. In the region, 25 investment programs will be implemented during 2011-2015, which affect all areas - from energy to tourism. Entrepreneurs can make a feasible contribution to the implementation of each of them, Alexander Kosinets is convinced. At the same time, entrepreneurs need state support, and first of all, this concerns training. "Entrepreneurs need to be taught, they need legal and economic knowledge," the governor emphasized. During 2011-2012, Br58 billion will be allocated to support entrepreneurship in the Vitebsk region. Business centers for entrepreneurship support with business incubators will appear in Vitebsk, Orsha, Polotsk, and Novopolotsk. In turn, the state counts on the support of entrepreneurs in the implementation of social projects. "Cooperation should be mutually beneficial," Alexander Kosinets believes. -0-
