The Chairman of the State Control Committee in Miory held a personal reception of citizens and inquired about the construction of a tinplate production plant
Leonid Anfimov took part in a meeting of the Miory District Executive Committee, held a personal reception of citizens, and also studied the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a plant for the production of sheet metal and tinplate.
The district executive committee meeting discussed the issue of identifying and involving unused and inefficiently used land in economic circulation within the Miory district. During the discussion of the speakers' reports, the head of the SCC drew attention to the need to strengthen efforts to restore order on the land, including at farmstead territories with plowing and involvement of agricultural land in circulation, territories adjacent to administrative buildings, machine yards, and unused household plots. The Chairman of the State Control Committee set the task of ensuring the effective use of agricultural land by applying the necessary amount of mineral fertilizers for agricultural crops. Leonid Anfimov demanded to exclude cases of unauthorized landfills in forest areas and on agricultural land, and to bring guilty legal entities and individuals to justice for each such fact.
During the reception of citizens, 7 people applied to the head of the State Control Committee. Several applicants asked for assistance in including the construction of the district hospital in the investment program. The construction of this facility has been underway since 1992, but due to lack of funds, it has not been completed, and the existing hospital is not properly equipped, and its departments are scattered throughout the city. During the reception, citizens also raised problematic issues related to the preservation of the Miory basic school, the repair of the bridge in the village of Putino, which is in a dilapidated state, the establishment of land boundaries, and employment.
The head of the control authority instructed to thoroughly investigate each issue, take comprehensive measures, and provide answers to the applicants in the shortest possible time. All received appeals have been taken under control by the State Control Committee of the Vitebsk region.
Leonid Anfimov also studied the progress of the investment project "Construction and commissioning of a plant for the production of sheet metal and tinplate". This project, with a implementation period of 2012-2019, is included in the list of the most important projects for the creation of new enterprises and industries that are of decisive importance for the innovative development of the country. The Chairman of the State Control Committee noted the economic and social significance of this facility both for the Vitebsk region and for the republic as a whole.
