Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies and the regional organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus" Vladimir Terentyev met with the staff of the Vitebsk branch of RUP "Belpochta"
During the dialogue platform, changes in the election campaign and the political life of the country were discussed. But first and foremost, Vladimir Terentyev emphasized the importance of the enterprise's work. The postal service, he noted, has always been of great importance. And today it plays a special role for the rural population, carrying a huge social burden. For this, the head of the regional parliamentary corps sincerely thanked the entire staff and the branch management.
Then he touched upon the upcoming elections, drawing attention to the specifics of this electoral campaign. Among them are the unified voting day, as well as the reduction in the number of deputies from rural councils. Vladimir Terentyev explained why it is necessary to come to the polling station and express one's civic position. The bills that the people's chosen representatives will have to work on will affect the life of society and the future of the country. So tomorrow will depend on the decisions made by each of us.
— Our task is to choose the best, — said Vladimir Terentyev. And added that it is important to vote not for populists, but for those who are guided by the interests of the state and its citizens.
Attention was also paid to the activities of political parties and public organizations in Belarus. The requirements for the former have now changed. The need to undergo re-registration, taking into account a certain membership threshold, will allow filtering out those structures that no longer unite people, but have turned into a narrow circle of politicians expressing their own views, explained the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies. To date, only four parties officially exist on our political arena, including "Belaya Rus", established this year. And all of them, despite some differences in their programs, are aimed at the development of the country.
Vladimir Terentyev specifically focused on the fundamental differences in the activities of the public association "Belaya Rus" and the party with the same name. In the first case, people unite primarily for the joint resolution of social issues – such as assisting in the improvement of settlements, helping large families, low-income citizens, disabled people, and so on. The party, however, carries a political burden. However, their main goal remains the same.
— The main task is to support the course of our country. And today, it can be supported in different ways – both through political actions and social ones, — explained Vladimir Terentyev.
Then he presented membership cards to the branch employees who joined the friendly family of the Oktyabrsky district organization of the RPO "Belaya Rus". More than 200 people immediately joined the primary organization created at the enterprise, including director Sergey Maksak and his deputies.
— I believe that these are indeed people who are interested in public work. And by receiving tickets today, they are voting for the future of our country, for the social transformations that are happening in it, — said Vladimir Terentyev.
He is confident that the conversations and dialogue platforms organized at enterprises and organizations yield good results.
— The interest of the people is evident from their faces, from the questions they ask, — shared his impressions of the meeting, the head of the regional deputy corps. — If you talk to people honestly, if you explain the nuances they have never heard of, they will be interested. I am pleased with today's meeting and the mood in the team.
