Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev visited the district charity Christmas tree in Gorodok

The event took place at the City House of Culture. About 60 children from large families, gifted children, and children left without parental care participated.

— New Year is the kindest, most joyful, and most anticipated holiday of the year for children. The holidays have begun, a magical atmosphere reigns on the streets and in homes, and gifts await under the Christmas trees, — said Vladimir Terentyev. — 2020 has been a challenging year. For the first time in a long time, humanity had to face a pandemic. Many, especially the older generation, are experiencing severe symptoms of coronavirus. Unfortunately, this disease has not yet been defeated. However, and this is an undeniable success in the fight against COVID, vaccines have appeared, one of which has already been registered in Belarus. The outgoing year was not without natural disasters. In particular, the day before yesterday, wet snow fell in the region, which instantly turned into an icy crust on asphalt, tiles, trees, and wires. Emergency and utility services worked tirelessly, but people still faced power outages and disruptions in public transport, icy conditions on sidewalks and secondary roads.

Vladimir Vladimirovich wished the participants of the festive performance good health and good grades in the coming year, the fulfillment of their wishes, and an excellent mood.
