Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev held a "hotline" for residents of the Vitebsk region
11 appeals were received, including three repeated ones. All of them will be duly responded to, although, in the opinion of Vladimir Vladimirovich, a significant part of the issues raised during this dialogue could have been resolved in a timely manner at the level of city and district Councils of Deputies and executive committees.
To speed up the process on a number of issues raised, the head of the regional parliamentary corps, during breaks between phone calls, contacted the chairmen of the district Councils of Deputies, who were simultaneously on duty on "direct lines" in their districts, and other interested parties. This included addressing the appeals of Vitebsk residents Olga Korneva regarding the removal of hazardous birch trees at the cemetery in the village of Usvitsa, Glybochensky rural council, Ushachsky district, and Alexander Itskov regarding the condition of the road to the cemetery in the village of Bereshevtsy, Beshenkovichsky district. These issues were immediately taken under the control of the local authorities.
Olga Ivanovna from Orsha is concerned that there are no medicines in the city's pharmacies that were prescribed to her after heart surgery. And if one of the necessary drugs is imported, then the second is of domestic production. Vladimir Terentyev called this topic very rare in the practice of holding "direct lines," as the provision of medicines in the region is organized at the proper level. The appeal has been sent to the healthcare department of the regional executive committee.
The chairman of the regional council also took under control the request of Lilia Borisovna, a pensioner from Vitebsk, to transfer her daughter from the Maksimovsky boarding house in Gorodok district to the Selyutsky boarding house in Vitebsk district. Since this is possible in order of turn, the head of the department for labor, employment and social protection of the population of the regional executive committee, Alexander Khristoforov, will assist, with whom Vladimir Terentyev discussed this issue by phone.
Olga Vladimirovna from Vitebsk, holding diplomas in philology and law, received a third one – in public administration – by referral but at her own expense. After working for 4.5 years as a company head, she was made redundant due to its closure, and finding a job in her field is a major problem. Following her call to the "direct line," Olga Vladimirovna has gained hope for employment.
Prompt assistance has been promised to the family of Anastasia Ginko from Postavy, who, according to Presidential Decree No. 13, as a young family, was allocated a preferential loan of 29,259 rubles for housing renovation. Documents were submitted on June 26 of this year to the local branch of Belarusbank; however, according to Anastasia Dmitrievna, not a single kopeck has been received yet. Funds are urgently needed for building materials for the roof, which must be put in order before the rainy season begins. Vladimir Terentyev will look into the situation.
Following a call from Vasily Marchenko of Vitebsk, Sosnowsky hogweed, which has overgrown the area near the Boroniki cemetery No. 2, next to the greenhouse facilities of the Rudakovo agricultural enterprise, must be destroyed by August 18. This issue, unfortunately, is relevant not only to this territory and requires ongoing monitoring.
Oksana Burdyko, a mother of six from the village of Ezerishche in the Gorodok district, contacted the "direct line." She is concerned about the condition of local children's institutions and the amount of financial assistance allocated to large families for preparation for the new academic year. The mother of many children suggested that Vladimir Vladimirovich visit Ezerishche to personally discuss issues that require resolution. Vladimir Terentyev has scheduled another trip there for September 1.
