Chairman of the regional executive committee Nikolai Sherstnev held a meeting and personal reception at OJSC "KIM"
This enterprise is going through a difficult period. There were not enough of its own funds for its technical re-equipment. The current economic situation did not allow the project to integrate the enterprise with "Belvest" to be implemented, and today the open joint-stock company has large debts for wages, payments to the social protection fund, taxes, and energy resources. "KIM" is undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, and in the first days of May, the second stage of its implementation will be considered by the economic court of the region.
The leadership of the region and the city is seeking opportunities to pay off arrears in wages and child benefits. Many employees of "KIM" are concerned about their own fate and the fate of the enterprise where they have worked for many years. Female employees who came to a personal meeting with the chairman of the regional executive committee shared their concerns. For example, Lyubov Leshcheva said that she came to "KIM" in 1991 and recently served as shift supervisor. Understanding the difficulties that the OJSC is experiencing, she tried to expand her opportunities for further employment by completing accounting courses. She asked for help in finding a new job.
Nikolai Nikolaevich instructed the first deputy chairman of the city executive committee, Valentin Tsvetkov, to deal with this issue.
Olga Avdeeva worked in branded retail for 15 years, headed the staff of a store on Moskovsky Prospekt for three years, and at the reception represented not only her own interests but also those of her subordinates.
— We would all like to stay in the knitwear industry, we would like our enterprise to continue to exist, as its products are in demand. But at the moment we are looking for new jobs. What I have been personally offered is significantly below my qualifications, — she noted.
— Your issue will be thoroughly worked out by the specialists of the city executive committee, and options will be selected, — assured the chairman of the regional executive committee.
Regina Tkachenko has four children, lives in a dormitory, and for a number of reasons, both objective and subjective, could not solve her housing issue. She asked to consider the possibilities of providing her family with financial assistance and social housing.
V. Tsvetkov clarified in detail the circumstances that previously hindered the resolution of the housing issue. He explained that the city executive committee, on the principle of a "single window", will request all the necessary documents in order to put her on the waiting list. But he emphasized that social housing is not planned to be built in Vitebsk this year, so the large family will have to wait.
Nina Alferenok disagrees with the valuation of the privatization of her apartment, as at the time they carried out repairs in the received housing at their own expense.
N. Sherstnev instructed to check the correctness of the privatization cost assessment. And summed up the results of the reception on personal matters.
— The current year is not easy. We cannot ignore problems, just as we cannot remain inactive. Specialists of the regional and city executive committees must treat such appeals very responsibly. Every person must be heard, everyone must receive an answer about the possibilities of solving their issue. And then it is their right to accept the proposed options or refuse them...
