Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev congratulated Archbishop of Vitebsk and Orsha Dmitry on Easter

The Resurrection of Christ is the most joyful, bright, and cherished holiday for all believers. Despite the celebration in the context of the epidemiological situation, the tradition of the Easter meeting of representatives of the regional authorities with Archbishop Dmitry of Vitebsk and Orsha remained unchanged.

The head of the diocese received the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies Vladimir Terentyev and the chief specialist of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee Sergey Fadeyenkov at his residence.

On behalf of the executive and legislative authorities of the region, Vladimir Terentyev congratulated the archpastor on Easter, and in his person, all the clergy and believers. Presenting the traditional bouquet of white roses, he thanked Archbishop Dmitry of Vitebsk and Orsha for his great spiritual work for the benefit of society, for the prayers offered to the Lord, including for the future of our country, for the health of people.

The bishop presented the guest with a paskha and a festive kulich, symbolic of the Bright Resurrection of Christ. The words of the bishop, with which he presented the Easter gifts, were full of bright feeling and spiritual wisdom.

— Joy to all people! Rejoice always and accept God's love, — said Archbishop Dmitry. — Divine love is always manifested in beauty, in order. Love your neighbors, different people, even those who, as it seems to you, are not worthy of love. But you love... The Lord gives us both rain and sun, He grants us to be on Earth in joy.
