Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko presented passports to young residents of the Vitebsk region

Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko today presented passports to young residents of the Vitebsk region. The most active young people received their main document in a solemn ceremony – excellent students, winners of subject olympiads, and republican competitions.

– I am very pleased to meet with you today as fellow countrymen, – the speaker addressed the youth. – This is a very important and memorable day for you, because you have received the main document of Belarusians, and, in essence, it is a ticket to a new life. Despite your young age, you already have many successes and achievements, thanks to which you bring glory to the Vitebsk region, your district, school, and the country as a whole. But remember: your great victories are still ahead.

According to Vladimir Andreichenko, much has been done by the state, and the starting conditions for everyone are the same:

– The rest depends on you. You will finish school and enter higher education institutions. Some will become doctors, diplomats, deputies, some will guard our state borders, some will workto be in agriculture, in the IT sector. Any work is important for the country. Nothing in life comes easily and simply. To have something, one must apply labor, knowledge, effort, perseverance, and diligence everywhere, – said the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

The Speaker emphasized that it is important to always be a patriot of one's country:

– You must remember the people you lived and studied with, who gave you a start in life, so that you are true citizens of Belarus and defend the country's interests. Whatever you become, it is important that you are guided by the interests of Belarus. You are needed here. The country is doing everything for you. Our Constitution is aimed at this. This is the foundation of the state's legal system.

After receiving their passports, the young people could ask the speaker any questions. For example, the schoolchildren touched upon the topics of their homeland, sports, and inquired about the qualities a true citizen should possess.
