Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeenko is on a working trip to the Vitebsk region
During a working trip to the northern region of Belarus, the Speaker participated in a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee on the agenda "On Investment Activities in the Vitebsk Region".
The report of the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Anzhelika Nikitina, on investment activities in the districts of the Vitebsk region was heard. In 2024, investments in the region amounted to almost 4 billion rubles, with a growth rate of 110.8%. And over the four years of the current five-year plan, more than 12 billion rubles of investments have been received. The report noted both positive trends in this area and shortcomings at the local level.
The working trip plans of the Speaker of the House of Representatives include a meeting with teachers and students of the Vitebsk Order of "Badge of Honor" State Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
